Indigo Brave and Games Workshop unite for Christmas giving
Indigo Brave invited the global hobby business, Games Workshop, into one of its projects this Christmas. Together they introduced the Basket Brigade into Nottingham – the Basket Brigade is a global movement to support households in need. (see http://www.anthonyrobbinsfoundation.org/arf/inter_bb.php ). The team raised money, gathered donations and then delivered around 200 beautifully packaged baskets. For Games Workshop, headquartered in Nottingham, this was a development opportunity, enabling a group to practise new skills in a real environment. “It was a great success, a morale boost for the whole business, as we were helping people in our own community. Everyone contributed, and the teamwork was phenomenal. We were delighted with the learning and development opportunities Indigo Brave offered us through the project.”
Toyota Apprentices Personal Development Programme
Toyota Apprentices Personal Development Programme
Indigo Brave has delivered 3 week long training programmes to each of Toyota’s motor mechanic apprentice groups. Areas covered included Communication and Presentation skills and Team working, plus linking their behaviour and personal values to those of the Toyota Way values. Toyota selected Indigo Brave after a lengthy selection process.
“What attracted us to Indigo Brave was their training methods – interactive learning which we recognise gives long-lasting results. We are looking forward to benefiting from the changes, enabling each one of our apprentices to make the very most of our investment in them.” Andrew Parsons, Section Manager, Management & Technical Skills Development, HR

Indigo Brave supports Rolls-Royce’s Apprentices
In a programme called “How to Bottle What You’ve Got and Build Resilience!” Indigo Brave will be working with Rolls Royce’s apprentices across all their 11 UK sites. The innovative programme, which was successfully piloted in 2007, will develop the trainees’ self-motivation, ownership of values and the visioning of their future, connecting their behaviour with the long term picture. Other expected outcomes are increased resilience as innovators and creative thinkers, with the personal strength to stand out from the crowd when appropriate, plus improved communication skills and emotional intelligence.
Neil Fowkes, Learning Delivery Manager at Rolls-Royce’s prestigious Learning and Career Development Centre in Derby, said “ We chose Indigo Brave to deliver this key personal skills programme because of their unique style – they work interactively and physically with people, creating changes in behaviour that become part of the person, learning that is fully embedded for life. Enhancing the social and emotional intelligence of our trainees will further increase their chances of career and life success – good for them, good for us, good for the industry and good for society.”
The retention rate for Rolls-Royce apprentices is 98% (against the national average of around 65%), evidence of the success of Rolls Royce’s exciting approach to investing in trainees.
Leadership Training for emda (East Midlands Development Agency)
Leadership Training for emda (East Midlands Development Agency)
Indigo Brave has just delivered a one day programme on Leadership to a group of Head of Teams. The lively event provided an opportunity for 19 people to use a range of interactive techniques to explore their individual leadership styles and provided valuable space for discussion and personal consideration of development needs. As a result, we have also been invited to submit a proposal for a different piece of work, another part of emda’s new Learning and Development Strategy.
Price and Buckland grows the business
Price and Buckland grows the business
Price &Buckland, one of the country’s leading school wear suppliers based in Nottingham, has recently expanded its turnover by nearly 20%, by acquiring a similar smaller business in the South-West. Ant Buckland, the Joint Managing Director, attributes this initiative to increased confidence within the senior management team, from which has flowed increased stability within the management structures.
Indigo Brave was “instrumental in helping us achieve this – the training and coaching they have delivered has been hugely successful. We are delighted how bringing them in has upped our game, and so amazingly quickly”.
Even more cutting edge skills – facilitators train with NLP and NAC Master
Even more cutting edge skills – facilitators train with NLP and NAC Master
Indigo Brave’s clients can now benefit from the latest cutting edge learning techniques and tools, as our lead facilitation teams are enrolled in the Anthony Robbins Mastery University. “Tony Robbins ranks among the top 200 Business Gurus in the world”, Harvard Business School Press.
Two of the team have recently completed Unleash the Power Within and Life Mastery courses in the US, while the third will complete in Australia this Spring. Tony Robbins is an NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) Master Practitioner and he also devised Neuro Associative Conditioning (NAC). He has been described as the world’s best life coach and motivational speaker, at the forefront of the global personal development community. (He was featured on Alan Yentob’s BBC 1 programme, Imagine, in late Feb 08).
Completing such challenging and innovative courses offers huge benefits to our clients – our facilitators gain fresh ideas and approaches, incorporating them immediately into their training delivery, and form links with other practitioners, to ensure they remain up to speed with all the cutting edge research.
Equally importantly, their commitment to CPD (Continuing Professional Development) means they “walk the talk”, committed to their own personal development and growth and always remaining in touch with our clients by re-experiencing what it is like to be a delegate, rather than the facilitator!
Working with Apprentices & Young Employees – expanded specialist facilitation team
Working with Apprentices & Young Employees – expanded specialist facilitation team
Indigo Brave has now expanded the services it can offer clients seeking training for the younger people in their organisations, whether apprentices, trainees, graduate intake, students or simply the younger members of their staff.
In response to client demand, and building on an excellent 12 year track record with young people, the company has developed a specialist team of 4 facilitators.
The team has a wide range of skills and experience in appropriate learning styles, to engage and motivate young people, including theatre, drama, NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) and Brain Gym™.
They are currently working very successfully for various clients, supporting this group – developing their confidence, self-esteem and communication skills, resulting in increased peer support, improved motivation and work performance and attention to key client issues, such as building a culture of creative thinking and developing more awareness of Health and Safety.
