Indigo Brave & Norfolk Safeguarding Children Partnership Shortlisted as Award Finalists!
We are thrilled to share some incredible news! The Joint Agency Group Supervision project (JAGS), which we developed for our partners at the Norfolk Safeguarding Children Partnership (NSCP) is officially now a finalist for the prestigious Children & Young People Now Awards 2026 in The Safeguarding Award category.
We developed the project in close collaboration with the the NSCP and want to thank Abigail McGarry and Bridget Griffin for their vision, insights and trust in our work. It has taken over 2 years to bring this project into maturity and years before that in the development stage. Getting into the finals not only recognises and celebrates the dedication, innovation, and hard work this project has taken, it is also a crucial part of raising awareness of the importance of the Emotioanal Landscape in the hugely demanding work of Safeguarding Children and Young People.
The Joint Agency Group Supervision model, offers a supportive, high-impact, group supervision model which brings together multi-agency professionals to ensure anyone and everyone in the team around the child has a voice and that their opinion can be heard. The model also builds Emotional Intellignce by creating spaces grounded in trust, reflective practice, and collaborative strength. This not only improves communication between professionals (which can suffer when the going gets tough - and it can get very tough) but also attends to the secondary trauma experienced by our frontline professionals and supports their wellbeing.
We are immensely proud of this model and believe that our joint efforts with NSCP will continue to ensure that professionals working with children and young people are empowered to deliver their best work safely and sustainably. The work is being noticed and already another Children and Young People's Partnership is interested in bringing the model to their professionals.
We want to extend a huge thank you to our partners at the NSCP and all the frontline teams whose commitment made this recognition possible.
